- O, moj brate od strica, kako vidiš ljude?
Pas je odgovorio: - Čudno, kad nekoga mrze, kažu *Pasji sine*
Vuk će na to : - Ujedaš li ti njihovu djecu?
Pas odlučno odgovori :- Ne, ni govora!
Vuk: Jesi li ih ikada izdao?
Pas:- Ne, nikada !
Vuk: Da li bi ih štitio kada bi ih je netko napao ?
Pas: - Da, životom !
Vuk: A kako ljudi zovu hrabrog i pametnog čovjeka?
Pas: - Kažu za njega da je Vuk!
Vuk: - Zar te nisam još od početka savjetovao da budeš vuk, kao JA!
Onda nastavio: - Više puta sam napao njihovu djecu, zaklao im stoku, plaše me se, a ipak svoje junake zovu vukovima!
Slušaj, moj brate od strica, ljudi poštuju svoje krvnike i neprijatelje, a preziru dobre i vjerne!
