Tužna vijest za kraj godine – iznenada je preminuo glumac James McCaffrey, poznat po ulozi Maxa Paynea. Glumac je imao 64 godine, a prema neslužbenim informacijama umro je od raka.

McCaffrey je svoj glas dao u sve tri Max Payne igre, a u trećoj je po njegovom izgledu modeliran lik samog protagonista. Osim u Max Payne serijalu, McCaffrey je glumio i u drugim Remedyjevim igrama – Control te nedavno u Alan Wake 2, a bio je i glas Edwarda Carnbyja u Alone in the Darku iz 2008.

Trenutno je u razvoju prerada prve dvije Max Payne igre i šanse su da će koristiti stare McCaffreyeve izvedbe, sada i u čast preminulom glumcu.
